Solar-Powered-Wastewater-Treatment-Plant

Solar-Powered-Wastewater-Treatment-Plant

The design is very simple. The heat from the sun rays will cause the water to evaporate, and due to the inclined glass surface the clean water will get collected in one end of the structure.

Implementation details: An airtight chamber will have to constructed which must be at a location that is exposed to sunlight for the better part of the day. Rooftops will be ideal locations. The major problem will be that the speed of operation will be slow, as it would take a lot of time for the water to heat up enough to evaporate.

Applications: Once constructed, the plant will be a low maintenance, and will supply clean water for a variety of purposes. Evaporation will make the water quite clean, though not potable.
